Greetings! In this episode we're going all the way back to the height of the Roman Empire with Ridley Scott's 2000 historical epic, GLADIATOR! And returning back to the show to talk all about it, as well as discuss his brand new novel PRIME TIME POMPEII, Neil Laird!

In addition to being an accomplished writer and one of my all-time favorite guests, Neil is also an Emmy-nominated director of historical films for Discovery, BBC, PBS, History Channel, National Geographic, and many other networks.
